This is a hand built drop leaf, New England farm table made of Pine and constructed in the late 1800's. It was given to me by my late mother-in law, whose uncle( A Master Carpenter) built it to serve a dual purpose in the kitchen of his house in Connecticut,as both a platform for baking and prepping meals, as well be used as a breakfast / Dinner table, when there was no occasion to use the main dinning room. It has 2 leaves and one drawer at one end, where once you open it, you will find that beautiful hand built, "large" Dove tail Joinery of the period.

Now, well over a century later, it is still a highly functional and soundly built piece of Furniture, and truth is I hate to part with it, but my wife and I have seriously downsized our lives, in order to move into a studio Apartment in Columbia S.C.,so she can continue her education at U.S.C. for the next 2 or 3 years. Truthfully, A lot of hard choices have been made, as to what stays ,and what goes, and what changes hands entirely, so we can't possibly weep over all of it!

the dimensions are as follows.

Height...30"
Length...41"
width with leaves open...54"
Width leaves closed...35"
